Make a film
Following a UK-wide search for our ten young production teams, they were each supplied with one five-minute episode of a script, a shooting kit and the three main actors for one weekend only. With no additional budget provided for filming, the winning teams were chosen because they displayed creativity in their intentions to blag and borrow other resources to bring their episode to life. And they've succeeded!
After almost three months of weekend filming, the ten episodes of 'My Imprisoned Heart' were finally screened at the Edinburgh International Film Festival on 22nd August at a Cobra Beer sponsored special event.

"Making your mark in film is all about working as a team. When it all comes together and the credits start to roll I know of no better experience. The actors might be the people with their name in lights but it really is a collaboration of minds which makes a film a success."
Lord Puttnam, CBE
Academy Award Winning Producer
"Film making is the most collaborative art form and needs enterprising people at every stage - it is all about overcoming obstacles and making it happen. I believe this is echoed by the Make Your Mark in Film initiative, it's a great idea and I look forward to seeing the final series."
Stewart Till CBE
Chairman, UK Film Council and Vice Chair, Skillset
